Agent: Mark Lucas
Julie Nicholson stepped down from her role as a parish priest in Bristol following the death of her eldest daughter, Jenny, in the London bombings of 2005. She couldn't reconcile the Christian concept of forgiveness with her own inability to forgive the men who murdered her daughter. A Song For Jenny (HarperCollins, 2007) is her remarkable memoir of that day and the years that followed. In 2015, to mark the 10th anniversary of the London attack, A Song for Jenny was turned into a BBC drama starring Emily Watson as Julie.
